Immigrate to Bulgaria

Want to immigrate to Bulgaria from Hong Kong?

Due to its geographical situation, Bulgaria is one of the main gateways to Europe and westward migration flows remain steady. In 2019, around 2.42% of the population of Bulgaria were immigrants. An increase of over 2% in the space of 30 years.

Bulgaria offers permanent residency through an investment of at least €512,000 (BGN 1 million) into a choice of investment funds which must be held for a period of five years. Bulgaria offers a two-step process to obtain citizenship and a Bulgarian passport. There are two investment tracks:

  • Standard Track
  • Fast Track

As Bulgaria is a fully-fledged member of the European Union, Bulgarian citizens have the right to live, work and study in any other EU country. The Bulgarian passport will enable the holder to travel to 188 countries and territories worldwide, including visa-free access to Canada.
